Master of Science Program in Nutrition and Dietetics
This program aims to produce graduates with moral and ethical leadership. Our graduates can apply their knowledge and skills in nutrition, dietetics and food service management, and even to develop research projects for health promotion as well as prevention and treatment of nutrition and/or diet-related diseases.

Objectives
The objective of this degree program is to produce quality graduate students by instilling in them with the knowledge and the capacity to learn based on a foundation of good moral values, in accordance as follows:
- Being an example of good character with strong ethical conviction, good leadership, responsibility, and interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Able to correctly assess, plan and manage in fields of food, nutrition, dietetics and medical nutrition therapy in addition to being able to offer theoretically approved dietary counseling to resolve nutrition and/or diet-related problems for the public.
- Able to compile, analyze and synthesis data through proper research procedures as well as possess analytical problem-solving skills and present the findings using appropriate information technology (IT) skills, and evidence-based scientific reasoning in order to be able to correctly and effectively resolve the nutritional problems of a given population or individual

- Dietitian/nutritionist in a hospital, health institute, food service industry, health and fitness centers, food and nutrition-related industries, or relevant government ministries
- Researcher in an academic institution, research facility, food industry, or hospital
- Consultants to public and private agencies, international agencies, research projects, health promotion units, and food and nutrition-related industries
- Freelance, food and nutrition-related or health food business owner
Admission Requirements
- Hold or currently studying in the last semester of a Bachelor of science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Biology, Public Health, Health Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Food Science or other related fields from an accredited national or international academic institution
- Receive a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
- Receive a TOEFL score of at least 480, TOEFL computer-based score of 157, TOEFL Internet-based score of 54 or IELTS score of 4.5 or pass the English Proficiency Examination arranged by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
- Applicants may be exempted from the above requirement, on a case by case basis, depending upon approval and consent given by the Program Committee and the Dean of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
